Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions apply to all bookings made with RMB Makeup & Beauty, a freelance hair and makeup artist specialising in weddings. By enquiring about or booking my services, you agree to these Terms and Conditions.

1. Services

I provide professional hair and makeup services for weddings and related events. Details of services, pricing, and packages are outlined on my website or confirmed in writing at the time of booking.

2. Bookings and Enquiries

A booking is considered confirmed only once a deposit has been received and written confirmation has been provided.
All bookings are subject to availability.
It is your responsibility to provide accurate details regarding the event, including date, location, and number of people requiring services.

3. Deposit and Payment

A non-refundable deposit of 15% is required to secure your wedding date.
The remaining balance is due 7 days before the wedding date, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Payments can be made via Bank transfer / PayPal / Cash / Cheque
Failure to pay the balance by the due date may result in cancellation of services.

4. Cancellations and Changes

Client Cancellations

Deposits are non-refundable in all circumstances.
If you cancel your booking:
- Less than 4 weeks before the wedding date will incur a 50% charge
- Less than 2 weeks before the wedding date: the full balance may be payable

Changes to Booking

Any changes to the booking (such as number of people or timings) must be requested in writing.
Changes are subject to availability and may incur additional charges.

5. Trials

Hair and makeup trials are recommended and are charged separately unless stated otherwise.
Trial fees are non-refundable.
Trials should be booked well in advance of the wedding date.

6. Assistant Artists
For larger bridal parties or where timings require it, I may provide one or more assistant hair and/or makeup artists. Any assistant artists provided will be qualified professionals selected by me. I remain your main point of contact and am responsible for the overall coordination of the services.

All services carried out by assistant artists are provided under these Terms and Conditions. In the unlikely event that an assistant artist is unable to attend due to illness or unforeseen circumstances, I will make reasonable efforts to arrange a suitable replacement. If this is not possible, an appropriate refund or adjustment will be made for the affected services only.

7. Travel and Location

Travel fees apply.
Parking fees, tolls, or accommodation (if required) are the responsibility of the client.
Early start times may incur an additional fee.

8. On-the-Day Requirements

A suitable working area with good lighting, access to a plug socket, and a chair/table must be provided.
Timings must be agreed in advance and adhered to on the day.
Delays caused by the bridal party or other suppliers may reduce service time without refund.

9. Health, Skin, and Allergies

You are responsible for informing me of any allergies, sensitivities, medical conditions, or skin concerns prior to the trial and wedding day.
I am not liable for any reactions where this information has not been disclosed.

10. Satisfaction

Every effort is made to ensure you are happy with your hair and makeup.
Any concerns must be raised at the time of the service so they can be addressed immediately.
No refunds will be given once the service has been completed.

11. Photography and Marketing

With your permission, photographs or videos taken on the wedding day or provided by you or your photographer may be used for my portfolio, website, or social media.
You may opt out of this at any time by notifying me in writing.

12. Liability

I will not be held responsible for circumstances beyond my control, including illness, extreme weather, or events classified as force majeure.
In the unlikely event I am unable to attend, I will make reasonable efforts to arrange a suitable replacement or refund any payments made (excluding the deposit).

13. Website Use

All content on this website, including text and images, is the property of RMB Makeup & Beauty and may not be copied without permission.
Information on the website is provided for general guidance and may be updated without notice.

14. Data Protection

Personal data is handled in accordance with my Privacy Policy and UK GDPR.
By using this website or booking my services, you agree to the collection and use of your data as outlined in the Privacy Policy.

15. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.
